Rendezvous Farm has recently purchased the Poppy’s Kettle Corn business. We have a mobile unit that we will be taking to various festivals, parties and special events (see schedule below) to prepare and sell our wonderfully sweet and salty kettle corn. We have also purchased a fresh lemonade machine to go along with the kettle corn at some of the events we attend. When the lemonade machine is not with us, we offer soft drinks and bottled water. Our kettle corn is soy and gluten free and we use local pesticide free non-GMO popcorn to provide the healthiest kettle corn snack. The ingredients are simple: popcorn, sugar, a minimum amount of corn oil and a light sprinkle of non-iodized sea salt.
Poppy’s Kettle Corn is available for your special event or festival on a first come, first served basis. We need as much advanced notice as possible for our planning purposes and so we can obtain the required Health Department permits. They require us to apply for the permits a minimum of 10 days prior to the event.
Rendezvous Farm has obtained the appropriate permits from VDACS to pop Poppy’s Kettle Corn on the farm and provide it to retail outlets. Poppy’s Kettle Corn is currently available at Randy’s Do It Best in Timberville, Image Grafx,, Beans BBQ and the Shenandoah Valley Flea Market in Edinburg. Mowry Orchard and Woodstock Garden Café in Woodstock, Larkins (6 miles west of Woodstock) and New Market Grocery as well as on the farm. May through October we will be bringing our kettle corn to Archwood Green Barns Farmer’s Market at The Plains on Sundays, 10:00-3:00. It will be available in more retail locations soon.
We look forward to providing everyone in the valley with some great and healthy kettle corn.
